Chinese Elm Bonsai Rakhi Personalized Gifts
For generations, these excellent semi-evergreen trees have been cultivated in miniature form as a Bonsai. As it matures, its bark turns fissured and corky, creating a beautiful and distinctive appearance.
Due to its slow growth and tolerance, the Ulmus bonsai is ideal for beginners because it gives them time and forgiveness to become accustomed to bonsai care.
The Elm Bonsai will, hence, make great Rakhi personalized gifts for your siblings, even if they have very little information on plants.
The Elm Bonsai Plants help to purify the air of formaldehyde and make it breathable. They require very little maintenance and supervision.
Care Guide
Light: To keep a bonsai in the house, it is important to keep it in a bright area. Windowsills with plenty of sunlight are ideal for Ulmus indoor bonsai trees.
Water: There is no way the Ulmus bonsai can survive long dry periods or constant moisture. Water generously after the topsoil has dried, ensuring that the entire root mass is hydrated.
Soil: It is necessary to use a potting mix with well-drained soil for these bonsais. The soil doesn’t need to be watered on a set schedule, but make sure it’s dry before watering it again.
Fertilizer: During the growing season, use mild organic fertilizers in the form of pellets or liquids, ideally with equal parts nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium (NPK), and less nitrogen in the fall. It’s best to apply the pellets once a month, and the liquid every two weeks.
Temperature: Even though Elms are generally tolerant of drafts, they do not like extreme temperature changes. A temperature of 60-70 ℉ is ideal for the majority of indoor tropical bonsai trees.
