Pedilanthus curly pink

This Curly pink plant belongs to the family of Euphorbiaceae. Native to the Americas, this cute plant has been introduced in Africa, Asia, and Oceania, occurring on rocky soils in dry, sunny habitats such as hillsides, wastelands, and roadsides.

Pedilanthus curly pink is perennial succulent spurge. This erect shrub is also known by the scientific name Pedilanthus Tithymaloides. However, the genus Pedilanthus has been submerged into the genus Euphorbia and is more popularly known by its new name.

The growth rate of this plant varies greatly depending on soil type, sunlight, temperature, and other factors.

Care guide

Sunlight: Keep this plant indoors with bright indirect natural light or bright artificial light. Also, protect it from direct sunlight as it can cause damage to the foliage.

Soil: The well-drained and fertile soil are best for growing the Pedilanthus Curly Pink plant.

Watering: Water the plant when the topsoil (1-2 inches) feels dry to touch. However, do not overwater the plant. Water your plant thoroughly in the summer and reduce watering in the winter and rainy seasons but do not allow the plant to dry out completely.

Fertilizer: During the growing season fertilize the plant with organic fertilizer once a month. Also, loosen the topsoil without disturbing the roots of the plant so it can uptake nutrients and moisture easily.
