Dracaena Mysore Ruby
Dracaena Mysore Ruby is a popular indoor plant originally from East Africa that is usually used to adorn homes and offices.
Dracaena baby doll typically grows as a short tree or shrub. This shrub is a long-lived broadleaf evergreen that has thin lance-shaped leaves that emerge pinkish red, but mature to deep green.
Scented, white to pale lavender flowers bloom in panicles. Houseplants rarely bloom flowers and fruit, however, as the Dracaena baby doll ages, it loses its lower leaves.
Care guide
Sunlight: This plant should be placed in bright indirect sunlight, but it can tolerate lower light levels.
Soil: It requires well-drained soil which is rich in organic matter.
Watering: Water only when the topsoil feels dry. But do not allow the soil to dry out completely.
Temperature: For optimal growth, the temperature should be 20 to 35 degrees Celsius.
Fertilization: During the spring and rainy season feed the plant with organic fertilizer. Also, without damaging the roots, loosen the soil. This will help the plant uptake the nutrients and moisture easily
