This is why the leaves must be sprayed in case the atmosphere in the space is dry. The bonsai needs to be watered one time per week to keep the soil moist and to release the excess water from the container. In winter, if the room temperature is less than 16C, the watering must be reduced. Place the plant in a location with filtered exposure to light or at a window facing the north and rotate the plant weekly, so that it can extend upright, not bowed towards the light.
